What is hook and loop tape?

Here’s how to apply hook and loop tape:

1. Cut equal hook and loop tape strips to your desired length, and peel off the back layer protecting the adhesive. Avoid touching the adhesive side of the tape, as your hand’s moisture and grease can weaken its sticking power.
2. Apply the tape with light but firm pressure, ensuring there are no air pockets and the tape is straight. Repeat this step with the other surface you want to stick together. It’s crucial to ensure that one side has the hook tape and the other has the loops.
3. Using your fingertips, press the two surfaces together to join.
4. The hook and loop tape should now be firmly attached. To test the tape’s strength, try unfastening and fastening the surfaces again.
