The Stylus 730 High Tack Double Sided Tissue Tape is made of white tissue and natural rubber adhesive, making it suitable for a range of everyday uses, especially DIY and trade. 

It conforms well to irregular surfaces, offering permanent bonding that is also resistant to UV exposure, which is why it works well for plastic, fabric, paper, and even for fixing handles and grips.

2. Fast tack double sided tissue tape 

For a lightweight tape with strong adhesion, look no further than the Stylus 745 Fast Tack Double Sided Tissue Tape. It’s great for a variety of different applications, including splicing, seaming, and mounting, while also being suitable for sail-making and laminating a range of foam materials. 

Using a long aging acrylic adhesive that also has pH-neutral properties, this tissue tape is an effective solution for floor taping. It’s UV, solvent, and plasticiser-resistant for superior stick in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The Stylus 740 Permanent Bonding Double Sided Tissue Tape is a premium-grade, multipurpose tape that offers excellent adhesion thanks to its aggressive, long aging acrylic. It can be used in construction and DIY industries, while also offering a high-tack solution for picture framing and automotive markets.

What should I know about double sided tissue tape? 

There are a couple of key things to know about double sided tissue tape before you buy. 

Storage recommendations 

It’s important to store your tape correctly to keep it in the best condition. Keep your tape in its original box where possible. When not in use, it’s also a good idea to make sure your double sided tissue tape is kept away from direct sunlight, to prevent it from losing its tack. A dry location with a temperature between 18°C and 22°C is optimal for storing your tape. 

Environmental considerations 

Some adhesive tapes work well outdoors, offering UV-resistance that allows them to withstand higher temperatures. However, some tapes are better off being used indoors to help them keep their stick.

Make sure you check the product datasheet to see the tape’s temperature resistance. Many of the products featured in this article can handle temperatures anywhere between -20 and 60°C.
